Our client was a elder patient at Defendant’s assisted living facility in Bala Cynwyd, Pa, who was unable to walk on her own and had dementia. Plaintiff was mishandled and dropped by Defendant’s employee , at which time she suffered an obvious angulated femoral shaft fracture, which required emergent medical care. Defendant knew of the fall and the fracture, delaying reporting the fall and facture to anyone and ignoring the plaintiff loud cries for help. Defendant also ignored the urgent need for hospitalization which plaintiff obviously required.
Solely as a result of the traumatic left femoral fracture and surgery, our client became critically ill, failed to thrive and died. CSL aggressively fought for the family of our client and was awarded $250,000.00.
